Akhmeta Wine House

The finest way to learn about Georgian, Kakhetian way of Natural wine making in Qvevri, is by visiting Akhmeta Wine House. It offers daily tours from 11 am to 8 pm year-round, it lasts approximately 1.5-2 hours.

You can attend working activities inside the winery, fermentation, and aging areas. After the tour you can taste 3 different wines, you also will be offered traditional cheese, bread, traditional snacks, and mineral water.

The wine list for tasting, as well as vintages, are indicative and might be substituted by similar wines in accordance with visitor’s desire or general availability.

Tour price is €12 per person; minimum number of guests is 8.
